In the most recent study by The Korn Group, The Truth About Teens and Tweens, 15 year olds were highly nostalgic.
One area of discussion was aspects of their lives that they do not share with their friends. While various answers were given one common response was their affection for children’s television and brands. This is something they do not publicise as it is highly embarrassing and earns negative kudos in the playground where the pressure to be cool and fit in is all too often overwhelming. Teens, it seems, are nostalgic to the days of their own childhood.
