DIY Spirituality Means Decline of Traditional Churches
The trend is clearly away from identification with traditional religion. Led by young people, Australians are turning away from prescriptive belief systems and towards DIY spirituality. For the traditional churches this means insurmountable challenges, partly driven by evolving trends and accelerated by their handling of abuse cases.
